About George
I am an insurance broker who graduated a decade ago. I have always loved reading and particularly enjoyed studying texts and poetry. However, I do understand it is not everyone’s cup of tea and can be intimidating.
Being able to form an opinion and give a written critique is not only vital to achieve high marks on an English exam, it also allows you to better form opinions and arguments in everyday life.

English Literature can be a tough subject. I aim to make it as exciting as possible and make it relatable to your life and lived experiences.
Learning how to critique and understand the written word shouldn’t be intimidating; it should be fun. I want to teach in a way that is non-judgemental and that will allow you to appreciate a piece of writing and to be able to offer up your own opinions on it.
