About Owen
Owen provides Acoustic, Bass and Electric guitar lessons for all levels, styles and ages. A guitar teacher, performer and author, Owen has gained an international reputation and has over 30 years professional teaching experience. Owen has one of the best track records in the business. He has taught over 1000 students privately, at schools, online, and at rock schools & workshops. Many of his students are now well-known professional guitarists in genres including Metal, Blues/Rock and West End/Theatre. Teaching studio on the Cambridgeshire/ Bedfordshire/ Northamptonshire border Current Online clients are both national (including London, Bristol, Surrey and Birmingham) and international (including Dubai, France, Germany, Scotland and the USA). Owen studied at the London Guitar Institute under Shaun Baxter from 1989-1990. Since then he has: *taught thousands of students * toured nationally * recorded dozens of Pro sessions and albums * had his compositions featured on dozens of albums including artists such as Don Airey and Medicine Hat *taught at dozens of Rock Workshops * taught at over 11 schools * co-launched and edited the online magazine alloutguitar.com (2005-2010: where he interviewed dozens of world famous guitarists) working with ICMP, BIMM and ACM * co-launched the global guitar talent search Guitar Idol with Licklibrary (2008-2014) * worked alongside players such as Phil Hilborne, Martin Goulding, Levi Clay etc * written courses with Andy James * promoted and played at dozens of rock festivals which featured world renowned players such as Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake) Rob Harris (Jamiroquai) Phil Hilborne (legendary guitar teacher and performer - We Will Rock You etc) Guitarist of the Year winners Simon Lees and Chris Francis, Andy James (Five Finger Death Punch etc) * Wrote the guitar tuition book 'From Zero To Rock Hero' which was published by Harper Collins and translated in 5 languages This wealth of experience guarantees results!

Owen provides Acoustic, Bass and Electric guitar lessons for students of all ages, music tastes and levels - from complete beginner to advanced professionals. All music and lessons are provided in PDF and Guitar Pro Files. Lessons are filmed and recorded if required. Lessons are personally designed around each client: from learning how to play a couple of simple songs, studying Guitar Grades and Degree courses, through to live playing skills, advanced technique and mastering improvisation - everything is available. Music Notation, Tablature and all Theory levels catered for. Lessons duration varies upon each student's requirements.
