About Mariia
I hold a BA in Applied Linguistics with a specialization in scientific written translation and an MA in Translation Studies with a focus on audiovisual translation. Alongside my teaching, I work professionally as a medical interpreter and translator.
I'm committed to continuous growth, both as a language professional and as a tutor. Just as I encourage my students never to stop learning, I hold myself to the same standard.

My lessons are built around the communicative approach: we talk, we engage, and we use real language from the very first minute. Each lesson is based on what you need and can apply straight away.
I work with adults at all levels on General English and Medical English. What sets me apart is my background as an interpreter, translator and linguist because I don't just teach the language, I work with it every single day.
