About Linda
Hello, my name is Linda and I am an IPA registered Chinese teacher based in Melbourne, Australia.
I have years of experience teaching students of different ages and levels. I enjoy helping students build confidence in speaking and making language learning practical, enjoyable, and less stressful.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and step-by-step. I believe language learning should be interactive and connected to real-life communication.
I am passionate about sharing Mandarin Chinese language and culture, and I look forward to supporting students in achieving their learning goals.

ABOUT LESSONS
My Mandarin Chinese lessons are designed to help students build practical language skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. I focus on real-life communication, pronunciation, speaking confidence, and useful everyday Mandarin expressions rather than only textbook learning.
I teach students of different levels, from complete beginners to intermediate learners, especially adults who want to learn Mandarin for travel, work, personal interest, or daily conversation.
As an IPA registered Mandarin Chinese teacher with years of teaching experience, I understand that every student learns differently. I adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s level, learning pace, and goals.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes long and can include conversation practice, pronunciation training, vocabulary building, listening, and simple grammar explanations in English when needed.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and step-by-step, helping students feel comfortable and confident while learning Mandarin Chinese.
