About Nick
I am an ex-competitor in martial arts, specifically Muay Thai and Filipino martial arts. I’ve had a few major heart surgeries that ultimately ended my dreams of competition, but I am still able to train and coach. I wrote an exercise science book titled The Complete Guide to Being Built Different (available on Amazon as an ebook or paperback) and am certified through ISSA as a personal trainer, DragonDoor as a kettlebell instructor, and IMB Academy as an assistant instructor (where I have trained for 23 years).

My training methods are personalized to each individual that I work with. Everybody is unique, with their own dreams, advantages, and limitations, and my mission is to make a training plan that is suited to you - from schedule to methodology - that will help achieve the goals that you set for yourself. I can customize a plan using (or not using!) weights, calisthenics, martial arts, and various tools such as kettlebells, sandbags, and ropes.
