About Claudia
4 years of experience as private tutors: from 2003, I have provided private Italian and Latin lessons for children, teenagers and adults, working in collaboration with different London agencies. I loved teaching through participation, respect and enthusiasm, proposing enjoyable, pleasing lessons and adjusting my style of teaching to the different needs of students.

"Those who know many languages live as many lives as the languages they know" Czech proverb I believe learning a new language is a great and fun opportunity to get to know better a different culture and to see the world from a different perspective! I am an Italian native speaker, and a CELTA qualified teacher. I graduated for a MPhil in European Comparative Language and Literatures at Cambridge University, specialising in Baroque Italian poetry. I have always loved teaching and proposing enjoyable and fun lessons, promoting learning through enthusiasm, respect and passion. Whether you want to learn Italian for fun, for work or to pass a specific exam, whether you are a complete beginner, or you already speak the language and would like to become more fluent, please get in touch! Perfect! Claudia is an excellent teacher. She is well organised and a very good listener. She has worked out the contents of the lessons based exactly on my priorities and preferences. I was very impressed that in the first lesson we discussed how much correction I wanted and we agreed that she would focus on recurring errors and she had fed those into subsequent lessons. I am delighted with Claudia's lessons and as a language teacher myself for more than 35 years I am quite a demanding student. I would have no hesitation in recommending Claudia to anyone who is looking for an Italian teacher.

My husband and I had personalised Italian lessons with Claudia in preparation for a holiday. She made it work really well for us despite our different levels (a total beginner and someone who had studied the language previously). Her teaching made the lessons really enjoyable and was also very effective - we were so pleased with the progress we made and can't recommend her highly enough as a tutor.
