About Chiara
I moved to the UK from Italy when I was 16 where I completed my A-levels achieving AAA and A* in Italian. I then achieved a first class Bachelor Degree at the University of Exeter and a Distinction at King's College London where I completed a master's degree in International Political Economy.
Whilst studying, I taught Italian part time to students of different ages ranging from 9 to 20 years old.

My lessons will be very personalised for the needs of my students but my main aim is to give my students the confidence to speak.
Therefore, my lessons will be heavily based on communication and interaction. I like to have conversations with my students and ask each other questions. I will then make note of the mistakes they might make and explain why it is incorrect, rather than learning grammar in a passive way.
I also like to give tasks to my students such as watching a cartoon/movie in Italian or read an Italian book to discuss together during the lesson.
In case of GCSE exams or A-levels, lessons can be more targeted and systematic in order to get that A*.
