About Adam
I’ve been working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer for over a decade, helping people from all walks of life achieve their health and fitness goals. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of coaching a diverse range of individuals—including competitive athletes, military personnel, youth athletes, seniors, and everyday people looking to get stronger, move better, and live healthier lives. My specialty lies in barbell strength training, particularly powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting, as well as kettlebell training through the StrongFirst methodology. These tools form the foundation of my approach, with a strong emphasis on building functional strength, improving mobility, and fostering long-term resilience. As a former American football player at the university level in the United States, I’ve been immersed in sports and athletic development for most of my life. That background has shaped my coaching philosophy and given me a deep appreciation for the discipline, structure, and dedication that quality training requires. I just moved to New Zealand about a month ago with my partner and our one-year-old son, Asher. We came out here to be closer to her family and have a bit more support while raising our little guy.
