About Jim
I have been an RN for over 20 years. Before that I was a Paramedic with the National Park Service where I was also a wildland firefighter and Law Enforcement Officer. I was also in the US Marine Corps and Army National Guard and ended my military service as a Nurse Officer with the US Public Health Service for a total of 22+ years of service.
I love to teach and I have been told that I can break tough topics down for easier digestion.

In addition to having his MSN in Psych/Mental Health, he is also a former Paramedic and has a wide knowledge base on many things. I am told that I have the ability to break things down and teach in a way that people can understand by using real life situations.
In our first session we will talk about what you need, where you are and develop a plan to get you to your destination. Assessment exams are good, but they have their place. I look at the "whole you" and we move together as a team.
I am older than most tutors which means that I can remember what its like before the wonders of the internet. The internet is great but what will you do if it fails? With me, you will be able to function.
All of my nursing degrees were earned using distance learning and online, so I know what the struggles you might be facing because I have recently faced them myself and I can help with "life management" if needed. I hope to meet you soon!
