About Yael
I have recently received my master's degree in English Literature, I specifically studied disability through modern literature. I have successfully defended my thesis, "Quiet Brutality: Intentional Noises, Intentional Silences, and The Bodies Behind Them". I know how to read difficult academic theory or research studies, which I can teach my students how to read these difficult academic texts. There are reading techniques on how to read these texts and there are techniques on how to write these kinds of materials.

My method is looking at the lesson plan, and then assessing student needs. I make about 3 versions of the lesson plans based on the potential level of the student. So if we are working on teaching a student how to research databases, or how to find credible sources, I will assess what the student knows, and then adapt the lesson plan from there. The same method goes for literature we read, as well as other subjects that I will teach.
