About Keira
Hi, I'm Keira, a recent Geography graduate from the University of Liverpool.
Alongside my studies, I balanced university and sixth form with a range of customer-facing and administrative roles, including positions at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, McDonald's and now I'm currently within a solicitors firm. I have worked part-time alongside my studies since I was 16, which has helped me develop strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, as well as a professional, reliable and hardworking approach. Managing work alongside my studies has also taught me how to handle a demanding workload and manage my time effectively.
I have also taken part in academic opportunities beyond my degree. This includes a business-focused programme at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in China, where I worked with an international cohort to develop a sustainability proposal. I also attended a residential programme at the University of Oxford. These experiences broadened my perspective and strengthened my ability to work with people from different backgrounds.
Outside of academics, I enjoy learning about different cultures, places and global issues, which is one of the reasons I was drawn to Geography in the first place. I particularly enjoy travelling and experiencing new environments, and this summer I am planning a trip to Tanzania.
I am enthusiastic, hardworking and committed to helping students feel supported, build confidence and achieve their goals. I understand that having a tutor can feel intimidating at first, so I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. In my view, tutoring should be engaging and rewarding, not something students dread.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether that's improving confidence, preparing for exams, developing essay-writing skills or receiving support with coursework/NEA.
I am a Geography graduate from the University of Liverpool with a strong understanding of both Human and Physical Geography. Alongside my degree, I completed a sustainability-focused programme at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in China and attended a residential programme at the University of Oxford, experiences which strengthened my academic, research and communication skills.
I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear and manageable sections using case studies, examples and practice questions. I can support GCSE and A-Level students with revision, exam technique, essay writing and coursework.
I offer flexible lesson lengths and am available throughout the day on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, as well as evenings after 6pm Tuesday to Friday.
Having recently completed my own studies, I understand the challenges students face and bring a fresh understanding of current exam expectations. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence and achieving their potential.
