Fun, Active Sports Coaching for Kids - Build Confidence Through Movement

I'm Gabriele, and I help children aged 3-12 develop confidence, coordination, and a love for movement through fun, structured sports coaching. Whether your child is naturally active or needs encouragement to get moving, I create engaging sessions that focus on fundamental skills like speed, agility, balance, and strength—all while keeping it playful and age-appropriate.

Many parents come to me because:
• Their child needs an outlet for energy and wants to try different sports
• They want their child to build confidence and social skills through physical activity
• Their child isn't enjoying traditional team sports and needs a more personalized approach
• They're looking for school holiday activities or after-school enrichment

What to Expect from Your Child's Sports Session

Each 1-hour session is designed to be fun, active, and age-appropriate while building real skills. Whether your child is 3 years old and just discovering movement, or 12 and ready for more structured sports training, every session is adapted to their development stage and energy level.

A typical session includes:
• Fun warm-up games to get them moving and engaged
• Fundamental movement skills: running, jumping, throwing, catching, balance
• Age-appropriate sports drills and games (football, athletics, coordination challenges)
• Cool-down activities and stretching
• Positive encouragement and confidence-building throughout

I keep sessions playful and varied so kids stay engaged and excited. The focus is always on building confidence, developing coordination, and fostering a love for physical activity—not drilling them like mini-athletes. Parents often tell me their child talks about the sessions all week and can't wait to come back.

Sessions take place at local parks or in your garden (if you have space) in West/Central London. I bring all equipment needed, and I'm happy to work with siblings or friends together (kids love training with their mates, and it makes it more affordable for families).

Sibling/Friend Sessions:
• 2 kids training together: £60 per child per hour (£120 total)
• 3 kids training together: £50 per child per hour (£150 total)
• Perfect for siblings, friends, or cousins—kids love training together and it's more affordable for families!

  • What age did you start playing sport? Tell us about this time or moment in your life.

    I started swimming when I was 3 years old. I still remember how natural it felt to be in the water — I was always full of energy and eager to move. At age 10, I discovered rowing and joined the national team, which introduced me to structured training and competition. By 17, I transitioned to triathlon, and that’s when I truly found my passion for endurance sports.
  • What are your favourite sports; those that you practice at a high level, a simple hobby, and a sport that you’d still like to discover?

    My favourite sports are endurance-based and outdoors — I love triathlon, cycling in the mountains, open-water swimming, and running through forests. I compete professionally in triathlon, but I still enjoy discovering new outdoor challenges. One sport I’d like to explore more is trail running in remote locations around the world.
  • What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue your sport?

    My main motivation comes from the drive to push my limits and see how far I can go — both physically and mentally. I’m passionate about continuous improvement and becoming the best version of myself through the process.
  • Do you have a sporting achievement that you’re particularly proud of?

    I’m proud of many milestones in my career: winning national and international medals in rowing, achieving multiple podiums at triathlon events, and recently finishing second at Ironman Poznań. Yet, I believe the best is still to come.
  • How have your achievements and challenges made you a better sportsperson?

    Both achievements and setbacks have shaped me equally. Success teaches you confidence, but challenges keep you grounded and resilient. I’ve learned to celebrate progress while reflecting on moments that didn’t go as planned — that balance is what truly develops an athlete.
  • If you had to go for a jog with a famous athlete, who would you choose? And what questions would you ask them?

    I’d go for a jog with Jan Frodeno. I had the chance to race alongside him in Germany, and he struck me as an inspiring and thoughtful person. I’d love to ask him about his training philosophy, approach to recovery, and how he maintains motivation and balance throughout his career.
  • How do you help people stay motivated?

    I believe motivation comes from discipline and a balanced approach to life. When you find consistency and purpose, you almost don’t need daily external motivation. Still, it’s important to celebrate small victories and acknowledge progress — remembering where you started keeps you grounded and driven.
  • What makes you a Superprof in sports?

    My experience spans both competitive sport and coaching — I’ve guided kids and adults, while balancing professional responsibilities outside of athletics. I understand what it takes to train seriously while managing everyday life. That perspective allows me to connect with people, help them find balance, and perform at their best.
