About Andrea
I hold a bachelors degree in history and graduated Suma Kum Laude from GCU. I have extensive knowledge of American history and am proficient in MLA, APA, and Chicago/Turabian writing styles. Biblical knowledge and film history are also strong suits of mine. I have firsthand experience in ministry administration, tutoring, and am a veteran of the USMC. My teaching style is flexible and I am willing to work with any student who is striving to reach specific goals.

I prefer to explain history by addressing cause and effect cycles. Most teachers only teach what happened; I teach why things happened and how their consequences affect the world today. I also ensure that students are familiar with key players and events in given historical scenarios, but pay special attention to causation.
