About Hylaine
My teaching philosophy is to foster an environment where children feel that they are represented in their school work. I believe that all children are capable of learning when they have a teacher who has the skills and strategies to teach them. I strive to present learning in ways that they can understand and apply their skills. It is important to me that through each lesson students are able to see themselves in learning and understand what their strengths are. I love to incorporate music and games in my lessons in order to help students stayed engaged and have fun learning. I have experience working in Ontario elementary schools, teaching online, and tutoring experience. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading books, listening to music, and fitness activities.
