About Yulianti
Hi, my name is Yuli. I’m originally from Indonesia and I spent 14 years living and working in Taiwan, where I used Mandarin every day in both my personal and professional life.
My background is in engineering, but throughout my career I have realized that one of the things I enjoy most is communicating with people, listening to them (the courage to speak is very essential), and helping them understand things step by step.

Chinese might be difficult, the character's strokes to remember, the tone might be confusing, but your experience of learning Chinese does not have to be difficult. I really enjoy communicating with people and helping them understand something that initially feels difficult.
I would love to share the language and culture, especially of Taiwan, in a more personal and engaging way.
I enjoy working with children too because I think learning a language should feel fun and encouraging, rather than feeling like another school assignment.
I’m excited about the opportunity to help students build confidence in Chinese and hopefully make them enjoy using the language in their everyday lives.
