About Greta
Hi! I'm Greta, a dedicated Latin student with 3 years of hands-on experience studying the language. Because I'm right there in the student seat myself, I totally get where grammar rules can feel confusing or tedious—and I know the exact tricks and shortcuts to make them click.
My goal is to take the intimidation out of Latin and turn it into a fun, rewarding puzzle. Whether your child is just starting out in 1st grade or navigating the challenges of 7th-grade curricula, I bring patience, creativity, and a fresh peer perspective to every single Zoom session. Let's make ancient history and language feel like magic!

- Transform Latin from a stressful school subject into your favorite part of the week. My online Zoom tutoring sessions offer a structured, encouraging, and surprisingly fun space to master classical grammar and translation.
- Focus on linguistic logic and pattern recognition. Using interactive digital tools, color-coded sentence breakdowns, and etymology connections, I break complex declensions and syntax down into clear, manageable building blocks so you actually understand why a sentence works.
- My lesson plan:
1. Go over vocabulary and what we did the last time. Maybe a fun mini quiz!
2. Introduce new elements: enter a grammar, literature or translation universe.
3. Then we do some fun exercises and more explaining
4.For the last 5 minutes, I make sure everything is understood so that next time we can focus on the next thing.
- I specialize in making early language learning approachable, joyful, and confidence-building. I know how to keep younger students engaged through a warm, patient, and highly interactive virtual style that turns an intimidating subject into a favorite weekly activity.
- Perfect for 1st to 7th-grade students who are just beginning their language journey, looking to get ahead in school, or eager to discover mythology, history, and word power in a fun, pressure-free environment.
