About Ruairidh
I am a freshly graduated law student from the University of Aberdeen. Currently, I am living in Canada, taking a sabbatical from studying and travelling BC.
During my time at university, there were, to my knowledge, no tutors specifically in academic writing. They gave us the knowledge out of the textbook and told us to write. But how? This question took me two years of trial and error before discovering a winning formula.
Now I would like to help those in similar situations.

Writing essays can be a rather tricky and daunting task. In my experience, guidance on this crucial skill is incredibly limited, so I would love to pass on what I was forced to learn solo.
The lessons will be entirely fuelled by your needs and concerns, helping you to improve in areas chosen by yourself. I believe anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour to be the sweet spot for an effective lesson.
As writing essays is a universal skill among students, these lessons are open to anyone struggling in some area of their work, be it research, structure or editing. Additionally, I can assist more specifically in Scots Law.
I am new to tutoring in law but have experience tutoring younger students.
