About Esther
I’m a Law graduate from King’s College London, and I’m currently studying for my Master’s in Political Sociology at the London School of Economics. I’m passionate about academia and have experience in helping students excel in Economics, Maths, Law, and English. I have expertise in the Edexcel syllabus and am very familiar with major exam boards, including AQA and Cambridge IGCSE. I am also very familiar with the International Baccalaureate. When teaching, I encourage students to ask questions and share how they learn best. Once students understand the main concepts, I focus on developing exam technique through live modelling, marking, and sharing study strategies they can use independently. I’ve also spent the past five years supporting students with personal statements and UCAS applications, including one-to-one Law masterclasses for students from lower socio-economic backgrounds. I’m flexible, supportive, and committed to creating an environment where every student feels confident, heard, and in control of their progress.

Each lesson begins with a recap to reinforce previous learning and unpick misconceptions, followed by a concise delivery of new material. I always encourage students to ask questions, share how they learn best, and take an active role in shaping the session. Once students have established robust conceptual knowledge, I support students to develop exam technique through live modelling of exam questions, live marking of student work and equipping them with study techniques that they can use in between sessions. I'm flexible and dedicated to meeting each student's unique requirements, ensuring that they feel confident, heard, and in control of their progress. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can feel empowered to reach their goals.
