About Wasiem
I am a lawyer, with excellent command of the English language (supported by 'A' symbols in school and university), who has some free time on their hands and is looking to make meaningful use of this time. How better than upskilling a fellow human being.
During my degree English has been a cornerstone of understanding the complex procedures and legislation, often riddled with big words that seem very scary. Fear not! Words are but ink on paper, only useful if there is meaning attached to that word.
Over the course of my academic career I have enjoyed learning the English language and continue to enjoy the benefits that come with it. Poetry, novels, and dramas tell a story that comes alive in my mind. I would describe myself as fun, approachable, humble, confident, meticulous and passionate about everything I do. I am no professional English teacher, but a passionate one surely comes close.
I hope to impart my knowledge to others to the best of my ability!

My lessons would be student-oriented, meaning each student is different and would need different approaches which suit them.
Once I identify the level of English the student is at, we can- or at the students request- work on the many areas of the English language one is struggling with or would like to focus on. This development includes reading, writing, communication, tips for assessments, grammar, spelling, parts of speech, CV writing and others at the students request.
