About Laasya
Having obtained my english qualifications through an extremely challenging curriculum I understand that studying English can be a difficult task for some. The critical thinking and creativity required of students is not taught in schools but expected nevertheless. Thus, I wish to help others by equipping them with the knowledge I possess on how to perform well in the subject while enjoying it thoroughly and make their high school experience a little easier than mine.

In addition to having a strong foundational understanding of grammar and reading and writing basics, excelling in English requires a creative approach to the language that allows students to look at the big picture and empathise with the content of the problem. I approach this task by having them by having students interact more thoroughly with the syllabus and requisite curriculum and later exposing them to opinions, experiences and perspectives that differ from their own and think critically.
My experience is predominantly that of tutoring middle year and primary students and assisting IB students with their course work (HL essays and exam papers).
