About Shamsuddin
Hi, I'm an audit and accounting professional with more than 20 years of experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm and multinational organisations across banking, insurance, financial services and the not-for-profit sector.
Teaching has always been something I genuinely enjoy. For around 15 years, I've been helping undergraduate students understand subjects like Accounting, Auditing, Business Law, Economics and Finance. Seeing students go from feeling overwhelmed to becoming confident in their studies is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
I understand that everyone learns differently, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. My lessons are tailored to your needs, whether you're trying to understand difficult concepts, improve your grades, prepare for exams, or simply build confidence in the subject. I focus on explaining topics in a simple, practical and easy-to-understand way, using real-world examples wherever possible.

My teaching methodology has always focused on putting theory into practice through practical examples, illustrations, and real-life scenarios.
For example, when teaching Business Law, I naturally incorporate practical illustrations of topics such as the Contract Act, Sale of Goods Act, and other legal concepts. A touch of humour often becomes part of these discussions, making the lessons more engaging and enjoyable.
This is the feedback I have consistently received from my former students, and I believe it is one of the reasons they continue to remember the underlying concepts long after successfully completing their course, degree, or professional program.
