Learn and play the drums with me today! Lessons with Joshua Mwembela

Joshua has been giving drum lessons to my son for 4 years now. Before that, my son was taking lessons with another tutor at a music school. I immediately saw the difference once we switched. Joshua's approach is truly student-centered. He is very attentive to his student needs and does not hesitate to make adjustments to reach the learning goals. With him, there is a very nice balance between theory and practice. After the first 3 months, my son was able to play on his own. Beyond music, Joshua has a very beautiful personality. He is open-minded and positive and transmits this very well to those around him. I highly recommend him for his patience, for his passion for passing on his knowledge and seeing others succeed. Since last year, my son is officially the lead drummer for our church's children's ministry.

Josh was a member of the creative arts team that I led for many years. He is an excellent musician and was constantly growing as drummer. His self-starting attitude helps him to continuously improve. I have seen him lead and teach others in the percussion section leader role and both he and they flourished.
