Learn Architectural History I & II from a Master’s-Level Educator with 11 Years of College Teaching Experience

I’ve had the privilege of taking Architectural Studio with Professor Lindstrom, and it was one of the most formative experiences of my undergraduate education. Her approach to studio is both demanding and deeply supportive—she challenges students to think critically and creatively, while guiding us through the design process with clarity, enthusiasm, and genuine care. Whether we’re sketching early concepts or polishing final presentations, her feedback is always insightful and elevates the quality of our work.

Although I didn’t formally take Architectural Graphics with her, Professor Lindstrom was incredibly generous with her time and expertise. Anytime I or other students needed help with Rhino, Photoshop, or other tools, she was there—patient, clear, and always focused on helping us communicate our ideas effectively. She doesn’t just teach software; she teaches the language of visual storytelling in architecture.

Her knowledge of Architectural History is equally impressive. She brings the subject to life, connecting historical movements to contemporary practice in ways that are both engaging and thought-provoking. Her lectures are rich with context, and she fosters meaningful discussions that help us understand architecture as a cultural and intellectual pursuit—not just a technical discipline.

Outside the classroom, her involvement in the architectural society speaks volumes about her dedication to the field. She brings real-world experience and a strong sense of community to her teaching, constantly encouraging students to engage with architecture beyond the academic setting.

Professor Lindstrom is more than a teacher—she’s a mentor, a role model, and a passionate advocate for architectural education. I’m incredibly grateful for everything I’ve learned from her. I was recently accepted into a Master of Architecture program, and I fully intend to seek her guidance as a tutor. I’ll also be recommending her to my classmates—because every aspiring architect deserves a teacher like her.

Crystal is a magnificent educator that makes learning architectural softwares not only accessible but also fun! Lessons are always delivered with clarity and order which has helped me learn Rhino with proper and effective functions. Crystal’s ability to connect with students and create a positive, supportive environment has allowed me to grow as a student in the architecture field.

Crystal is a trustworthy teacher because she is incredibly patient when explaining things. If you don’t understand something, she’s always willing to explain it again—no matter how many times you ask. She does it with a smile every time. Her passion for architecture truly shows, and she genuinely enjoys teaching. She also has a deep knowledge of architectural history, which makes her classes even more enriching and engaging

Without a doubt, one of the best teachers I've ever had the opportunity to learn. Her dedication and love for her work were evident day after day. Personally, she dedicated extra time to tutoring and providing explanations that helped me better understand topics related to my degree. She encouraged me to improve my projects and demonstrated her pedagogical knowledge to expand her students' knowledge. Without a doubt, she was a great support for any student.

I’m an architecture student, and I met Ms. Lindstrom during my first year of college. Since then, she has been an incredible support in helping me grow as a designer. She brings years of teaching experience to the table and is very knowledgeable in many different subjects, which makes her feedback especially valuable. She always offers different perspectives that enrich your work.

Ms. Lindstrom taught me how to draw in perspective view, use Rhino at a professional level, and she also helped me improve my skills in Illustrator and Photoshop. Her graphic skills are impressive, and she’s incredibly generous in sharing her techniques.
On top of that, you can tell Ms. Lindstrom is very passionate about teaching, she would organize trips all over the world with her students to enrich our experiences, and having her as my professor is honestly one of the best thing that happened to me in architecture college.

I had Ms. Lindstrom during my second semester at EPCC for a design and graphics class. She was incredibly accommodating and highly knowledgeable in the subjects she taught, which was especially helpful after my transfer to EPCC. Ms. Lindstrom is an outstanding instructor who truly knows her field. She was and will continue to be a valuable asset to the architectural profession in everything she does.
