About Jam Lauren
Hello and welcome! My name is Jam Lauren Natad, and I am a native Cebuano (Bisaya) speaker from Bohol, fluent in Tagalog, with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I am currently working as a high school guidance counselor, where I support students in communication, confidence-building, and personal development. My background in psychology and education allows me to teach languages in a way that is structured, patient, and learner-centered. I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, especially when it comes to speaking, so I focus on creating a safe, supportive, and pressure-free environment where students can learn at their own pace. In my lessons, I emphasize practical, real-life Cebuano and Tagalog, clear pronunciation, and meaningful conversation rather than rote memorization. I also incorporate cultural context so that students not only learn the language, but also understand how it is naturally used in daily life. I look forward to guiding you in your language-learning journey and helping you gain the confidence to communicate naturally and comfortably.
