About Sulochana
I am an English teacher with 18 years of experience teaching English at primary and secondary school levels. I can also teach students of college. I am fluent in spoken and written English and would love to do part-time tutoring to people wanting to learn English. I am a graduate from St Xavier College Ahmedabad. I have also done a course to be a teacher. I have coached students appearing for the boards in English language and from a D they have scored A. For a month I was teaching English to doctors at Indian Institute Of Public Health.

My teaching method differs at different levels, with medicos it was highly interactive and activity-based. At school, it is the P5 method, P1 _ preparation, P2 Presentation, P3 Practice, P4 production, and P5 being parental participation. For coaching for boards, it's interactive and remedial drill of weak areas plus the examination and evaluation pattern too is kept in mind. But my aim is to teach students to communicate well in English as one learns the language mainly to communicate and attain fluency.

Ms Sulochana has taught me for 2-3 years for English language. Her way of making students understand the language and literature both are unique and easy to learn. She easily gets attached to the students and hence bridges the gap between a student, his/her studies and the tutor. Ms Sulochana’s control and knowledge of English is unquestionable.
Sulochana ma'am was my English teacher in 6th and 7th grade and she was really sweet and was very skilled in her subject. She taught everything with ease and precision and was such an amazing teacher that we used to beg for her to come to our class. I would highly recommend her classes because she knows her subject very well and is very calm and patient while teaching it.
