About Robert
Having completed the CELTA certification in 2015, I started working as a teacher in August of that year with students between the ages of 15 and 17 years old who came from Japan and Hong Kong on study tours. After that, the school offered me a position as a general English teacher for adults.
I have taught more than 100 students in general English classes between levels A1 and C2.
My best student succeeded in working as a physiotherapist in Australia after passing professional English exams! (IELTS and Occupational English Test)

I am a CELTA (Cambridge English Language Teaching to Adults) certified English teacher and use CELTA methodology to plan and manage lessons.
Up until now, my experience as a teacher comes from working at an English school in Sydney, Australia.
I am interested in providing private lessons customised for individual students or groups. I've spent the past 9 years learning Spanish and, since I now live in Barcelona, have begun with Catalan. Because of this experience, I understand what it's like to learn another language. It can be difficult or worse - boring! That's why it's important that we find topics that encourage you.
More specifically, my studies have helped me to understand the differences between these languages that lead to common difficulties (pronunciation, grammar) for people with Spanish or Catalan as their mother tongue.
I use conversation, videos, books, music and a variety of materials to teach and can assist

Perfect! Robert es un profesor muy recomendable. Hace la conversación muy amena y se preocupa de que consigas tus objetivos y te ayuda a mejorar en las áreas que necesitas.

Perfect! Recomiendo 100% a Rob como profesor. Llevo un año aproximadamente dando clases de conversación con él. Las clases resultan muy interesantes y amenas. Rob además es muy flexible para cambiar puntualmente el horario si es necesario, lo que supone una gran ventaja para mi a la hora de compaginar clases y trabajo.

Perfect! Estuve mejorando mi inglés con Robert desde noviembre. Fue una experiencia muy positiva. Me ayudó a ver mis puntos ciegos. Persona excelente, profesor claro, conciso y divertido! Muy recomendable!
Robert es un gran profesor, las conversaciones son fluidas ya que siempre tiene temas interesantes de los que hablar. Además, ofrece recursos para practicar y aprender fuera de sus clases como películas, documentales, artículos... Empecé con él a finales del año pasado y he notado una gran mejora en mi inglés. Es super simpático y totalmente recomendable.
Robert es buen profesor para aprender inglés hablando, es muy recomendable si quieres aumentar vocabulario y mejorar tu fluidez en poco tiempo. Además, siempre tiene algo interesante para hacer una clase amena e instructiva al mismo tiempo.
