About Cheyenne
When I studied voice in college, I had the desire to learn everything I possibly could! That hasn't changed. I have always believed in being a well-rounded musician, so I studied techniques for opera, musical theater, jazz, and even branched out into traditional cultural music. I've spent years learning about vocal health and the physiology of the voice. My goal is to promote healthy vocal techniques for singers of all ages in all genres.

Every student is different. I adjust my approach to teaching based on the student I am working with. In a typical lesson, we will do warm-ups, I will ask if you have any questions about what we learned last time, and then we will start working on your music and the topic for that lesson. I teach the science behind what we are doing, give visualizations, and describe the feeling so that students can connect with whichever resonates with them. I accept students of all ages, genres, and levels. I have worked with children as young as 3 who are learning what music is, K-12 students, adult music theatre actors, and even on arias with a vocalist from Italy.

I currently take voice lessons from Cheyenne, and she is really great. She is always excited to see me and she is really encouraging. The ways she gets excited while talking about music makes you want to hear what she has to say. She is always kind and tries to explain things in different ways to help you understand. I strongly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn music.
Cheyenne is super knowledgeable about music technique, history, theory, you name it. When she starts talking about music, you can feel how much she loves it. She is also very kind and patient. I love that she always sets a specific time for questions and comments when she is teaching. 10/10 would recommend.
