About Shadi

I've spent much of my life learning languages and figuring out how to learn them better.

I'm a self-taught, multilingual learner fluent in six languages, with a Master's degree in Pharmacy and eight years of experience working as a freelance pharmacist across Italy.

My scientific background taught me to think critically, while years of tutoring technical subjects taught me something equally important: even the most complicated ideas can become simple with the right explanation.

I'm currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with excellent academic results, combining my fascination with how the mind works with my passion for teaching Italian language and culture.

About the lesson

I don't believe the same teaching method works for everyone.

Every student brings a different personality, motivation, and set of challenges. My job is to understand yours and build lessons that work for you.

Drawing on cognitive science, including cognitive load theory and multimedia learning, I design engaging lessons that make Italian easier to understand, remember, and actually use.

Expect real conversations, Italian culture, practical exercises, and clear explanations...not endless memorization.

My goal? To help you become an independent, confident Italian speaker, as efficiently and enjoyably as possible.

Impariamo insieme!

I'm Italian, but my kids have grown up speaking mostly English and French. It honestly made me sad that they couldn't really talk to their grandparents in Italian. What I appreciated most was that he understood this wasn't just about learning another language. It was about family and belonging. He made Italian feel fun and natural, without turning it into another chore. That's exactly what I wanted for my children.
