About Hritu
I am a dedicated Kathak practitioner with over [3] years of experience in this graceful Indian classical dance form. My training is rooted in the [Jaipur] Gharana, focusing on technical precision, rhythmic footwork, and expressive storytelling. I want to share my knowledge because I believe Kathak is a powerful medium for self-discovery and cultural connection. My goal is to pass on this ancient heritage to the next generation, helping students build discipline, poise, and a deep appreciation for classical arts.

In my classes, I bridge the gap between ancient tradition and modern learning. My method focuses on building a strong foundation in Tatkar (footwork) and Laya (rhythm) before moving into complex compositions. We will explore the technical brilliance of Tukras and Tihais while maintaining a fun, encouraging environment that builds both physical stamina and mental focus.
