Teaching Experience
As a passionate English literature enthusiast, I have gained valuable experience through both formal and informal teaching roles over the past few years. I previously taught in a public high school, which strengthened my ability to guide students in understanding complex literary concepts. Although I am no longer working in a formal classroom setting, I continue to teach actively. I have provided consistent face-to-face private lessons and have also worked as a virtual tutor on well-known online platforms, supporting learners from diverse backgrounds. These experiences have allowed me to help students appreciate literature more deeply while developing their analytical and writing skills.
During my university years, I led study groups where we explored complex literary texts in depth—analysing themes, character development, historical contexts, as well as topics related to women’s and gender studies. I also supported my peers with their academic writing by helping them structure their essays, develop coherent arguments, and strengthen the clarity and depth of their analysis.
These experiences have equipped me with the skills to create engaging, student-centred lessons that cater to individual learning styles and needs. My approach focuses on fostering a deep appreciation for literature and enhancing critical thinking and analytical skills. I am excited to bring this passion and dedication to my tutoring sessions and help students achieve their academic goals.
Let’s explore the captivating world of English literature together! With my student-centred approach and passion for teaching, we will dive into both classic and contemporary works, examining themes, literary elements, devices, and the deeper meanings that shape each text. My goal is to help you develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills while making the learning process engaging and inspiring. Get ready for a meaningful and exciting journey of literary discovery!
