About Sam
Sam John will make you love Mathematics with a passion. That's because he has been committed to helping learners move from fearful to stellar learners and top performers.
He is a Petroleum Engineering graduate from the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), and over the past 6+ years, he has developed a teaching approach that focuses on clarity, patience, and deep understanding rather than memorization.
His lessons are designed to help students rebuild their confidence in Mathematics by breaking down complex ideas into simple, logical steps. He encourages learners to think creatively, ask questions, and understand the “why” behind every method.
He works with Junior and Senior Secondary students, as well as WAEC, NECO, and JAMB candidates who want to improve both their understanding and performance in Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
His goal is simple — to help learners stop seeing Math as a barrier and start seeing it as something they can actually understand and master.

For over 6 years, I have taught Mathematics and Further Mathematics in a simple, clear, and easy-to-understand way. I always start from the basics, building strong foundations before breaking down complex topics step-by-step using practical examples that help students truly understand—not just memorize.
Each lesson typically lasts 1–2 hours, depending on the topic and the student’s pace. My sessions are interactive, with guided problem-solving and enough practice to strengthen understanding and build real confidence.
I have experience working with students preparing for WAEC, NECO, and JAMB, helping them improve both their understanding and exam performance in Mathematics.
