About Aditya

I am a music producer and multi instrumentalist, having released music and performed individually as well as a part of bands since 2015 on the largest stages around the country including magnetic fields, NH7 Weekender and Ziro Festival.

I have been teaching the guitar as well as music production and have co-founded the electronic music residency, 'Freewav', which brings together electronic musicians and students alike to the forests of Attapady, Kerala for a deep dive into music production.

About the lesson

I will be covering all the aspects related to music production including Sampling, Synthesis, Beat Making as well as Music Theory. With my method, you will be able to write your own beats and melodies in a way that flow well together to create and record your own original music.

I will tailor my methodology and information based on on your interests and the kind of music you would like to create.

You could be a Hip Hop rapper wanting to make your own beats, to an instrumentalist wanting to record and mix your own compositions, to a DJ wanting to produce your next Techno, House or Dubstep banger.

All of these will require a deep dive into the five stages of production - Sound Design, Composition Arrangement and Mixing.

My method can be applied to any DAW, but we will be primarily using Ableton Live.

I have been learning music production from Aditya for the past year and my workflow has improved tremendously! He is well-versed in many different genres and has a solid command over all the concepts relating to music production, but most importantly his ability to communicate them in a patient and understandable manner is what stands out the most. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to imrpove their skills!

Aditya is a very kind and fun teacher. He'll immerse with you in the concept and share his journey which will help you figure out what you're doing as well. He has been at this for a while so he doesn't lose patience easily. Highly recommend him!

I've been learning production from Aditya for the past two years. I find his ability to bring attention to detail and to explain concepts with patience, very welcoming as a student. Aditya also focusses on teaching through practice rather than theory.
His knowledge of different ways of experimentation is also something unique.
I would recommend Aditya to anyone who's looking to start their journey on music production.
