About Ilia
I trained as a classical pianist at the music conservatory of my hometown in Russia.
Over time I realized that music is not only a perfect execution of written works but an opportunity to express myself through musical language that goes far beyond the conventions.
I discovered electronic music and the alternative possibilities it offers. I learned to play guitar, ukulele and explored very different genres such as Pop, Country and Deep House. I learned to play acoustic guitar, write lyrics, record and produce the songs that I compose. I have composed works for symphonic and mixed orchestras, which I have recorded using orchestral sound sample libraries.
Music and sound are things that allow continuous exploration and reinvention of one's identity. It is an exciting and sometimes difficult journey and my mission as a teacher is to accompany my students on the journey of their creative expression.
