About Izzy
I've been playing piano since I was 5 and intensely studied classical piano until I was 18. Since then I've largely maintained my classical skill while focusing on using my piano skills to write rock and pop songs and play in bands, etc. I'm excited to get more back into the classical world at some point but in the meantime would love to help students start to learn in whatever style they're most excited about.

I'd love to teach beginning to intermediate classical piano and also would enjoy helping you learn some pop or rock tracks. I've always enjoyed learning by ear so if your goal is to learn specific songs I'd love to help with that as well as hopefully help you cultivate your ear so that you can do it as well. I don't have much experience with jazz in particular but am good at imitating most styles. I would love to hear what in particular you'd like to learn and help you with that!
