About Charlie
I am an actor and playwright and I am from London. Nowadays, I am concentrating on writing my own plays. This year I wrote a play and staged in Great Britain. It is about the rise of Boris Johnson, and is told in the style of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. I live since 2.5 years in Berlin. Since then I have been teaching Shakespeare workshops in schools throughout Germany. That's why I've traveled a lot through Germany!

I give both private lessons and group lessons. The lessons are tailored to your interests. Do you want to work on a specific text? Let's take a look! The group lessons begin with a short rap performance by me based on a Shakespeare play. The participants then design their own pieces in groups and perform them in front of the group. We also deal with various topics, exercises and games, all with the intention to get to know Shakespeare better! The lesson can refer to a specific work or text excerpt as desired.
