I’m a Data Scientist with 8+ years of experience in public and private sectors, currently working for the BC Government. I hold graduate degrees in Machine Learning and Computer Science, and specialize in Data Visualization, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics. With hands-on experience using Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, R, and Azure, I’ve delivered data-driven solutions across government and enterprise projects. I help learners of all levels confidently turn raw data into compelling dashboards and visual stories, using the tools that businesses rely on today.

In just 5 focused sessions, I’ll guide you through mastering either Power BI or Tableau, even if you're starting from scratch.
You’ll learn:
- Data connection and transformation
- Visual storytelling and chart design
- Filters, slicers, groups, hierarchies
- Custom calculations (including DAX)
- Publishing your dashboard to the cloud
For Tableau learners, I’ll also introduce Tableau Prep Builder, explaining how it prepares .hyper extracts for clean, efficient use in Tableau dashboards, no setup or coding required.
By the end, you’ll be able to design and share a fully interactive business intelligence dashboard. In the free 30-minute intro session, I’ll walk you through a typical dashboard I’ve built so you can see exactly what you’ll be able to create.
Whether you're preparing for a job in Business Intelligence, improving workplace skills, or building a portfolio project, my lessons are fully tailored and highly practical. No prior experience required, just curiosity and commitment.
