Teaching what you know is never an easy task to accomplish. But if one is dedicated to learn and the other is passionate to deliver a part of his skillset then this combination would result in flowing of knowledge easily with greater depth. I would rather focus on practical knowledge and rather would emphasize more on building of real world applications that we do see to achieve better understanding of the language and better utilizations of the frameworks and features the language provides!
