About Nima
Hi! I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. I specialize in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a break. My lessons are designed to create a low-pressure, encouraging space where students feel comfortable exploring their voices. I focus on breathwork, vocal relaxation, posture, mindfulness in music, and tone development to help students sing with ease and confidence. I guide learners through a variety of genres, including Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult, tailoring lessons to their interests and goals. My approach combines technical skill-building with creativity, helping students discover singing as a form of self-care, expression, and personal confidence. I love seeing students develop a deeper connection to their voices while enjoying the process. Whether you’re starting for the first time or returning to singing after years away, I make every lesson engaging, supportive, and rewarding. Singing is for everyone, at any age, and I’m excited to help you embark—or re-embark—on your musical journey!

My singing lessons are designed to help students develop pitch accuracy, expressiveness, and confidence, tailored to each learner’s goals. For The Soloist in Training, we focus on refining technique, expanding vocal range, and exploring dynamic interpretation to bring songs to life. For Adult Beginners, I create a supportive space to build solid foundations while encouraging experimentation and comfort with their own voice.
We work through a variety of song styles, from pop and jazz to classical and contemporary, allowing each student to develop musicality and versatility. I incorporate exercises for pitch perfection, breath control, and phrasing, combined with techniques that make singing more expressive and natural.
Modern tools play a key role in our lessons. Recording software helps students hear their progress, while ear training apps and pitch correction tools provide immediate feedback and guidance. These tools help track improvement over time and pinpoint areas that need extra focus.
I emphasize building confidence through performance practice, improvisation, and interpreting songs authentically. Every lesson is interactive, engaging, and personalized, ensuring that learning is both effective and enjoyable. By combining technique, musical exploration, and modern technology, I help students grow as singers and performers.
