About Rebeca
Although I have no formal experience in teaching English, my upbringing and diverse cultural exposure have instilled in me a profound appreciation for education, making me confident in my ability to excel as a Spanish tutor.
Growing up, I had the privilege of observing my mother, a dedicated teacher, imparting knowledge to her students. Her passion for teaching and commitment to nurturing young minds have greatly influenced my approach to education. Through her guidance, I have learned the value of patience, empathy, and creativity in ensuring effective learning experiences.
Born and raised in Venezuela and Ecuador, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in various Hispanic cultures, enriching my understanding of the nuances of the Spanish language. Having lived in the United States since 2021, I have experienced the challenges and joys of language acquisition firsthand, having taught myself English through consuming content I loved online. This experience has inspired me to utilize similar engaging and interactive methods in my tutoring sessions to foster a natural and enjoyable language learning process for my students.
As a current music business student at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, I am enthusiastic about incorporating music into my lessons.
