About Waheeda
My name is Waheeda. I'm an English language instructor, author, researcher, and curriculum developer. I'm South African but learnt and experienced new teaching methods over the last 14 years in Saudi Arabia, where I resided and worked at the University of Jeddah. Student motivation is key. The teacher must satisfy the needs of the learner by identifying their learning style, namely, visual, auditory, spatial, etc. In this way, learners attain success.

My philosophy is to teach with fun and enthusiasm so that the learner remembers the lessons. I implement association, brainstorming, language games, and communicative strategies to enhance learning. I may also use role-play, autonomy, and scaffolding to teach the English lessons.
