About SOUVIK
I am Argha Mahanti, a graduate in Hindustani Classical Music with specialization in Tabla. With a deep passion for rhythm and years of dedicated training, I have developed a strong foundation in both the technical and expressive aspects of tabla playing.
My journey in music has been rooted in traditional learning while also adapting modern teaching methods to make lessons more accessible and engaging for students. I believe that tabla is not just an instrument, but a language of rhythm that can be understood and enjoyed by everyone.
As a teacher, I focus on building clear fundamentals, proper technique, and a strong sense of timing (laya). I aim to create a comfortable and motivating environment where students can learn at their own pace while steadily improving their skills.
