About Jennifer
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest to a merchant marine , I grew up around boats my whole life. I could almost always be found in swimming pools, lakes and the ocean year round. I became a junior sailing partner at the Seattle Yacht Club teaching K-12 students sailing as well as swimming and safety near and on the water. I have instructed students of all ages about the importance of being aware of your surroundings pertaining to water safety and water related situations with an empathetic approach and a “YOU can do” attitude. My philosophy is that you are never too old to learn a new skill-swimming being one of the most useful that anyone can learn at any age.
