About Imani

Hi there!

I'm a Brooklyn-born, Carolina-based educator with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and a genuine passion for helping others grow! With 16 years of experience in childcare, a background in behavioral therapy, and fluency in American Sign Language since 2010, I've had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, personalities, and learning abilities. I'm naturally creative, patient, outgoing, and a firm believer that learning should be just as enjoyable as it is educational! I love finding unique ways to connect with my students, celebrate their progress, and turn challenges into accomplishments. Outside of teaching, I'm a creative at heart! I enjoy art, beauty, storytelling, and exploring new experiences. My philosophy is simple: “Everyone deserves to feel seen, understood, and capable of succeeding.” Whether we're learning something completely new or strengthening existing skills, I'll always meet you where you are and encourage you every step of the way.

I can't wait to meet you!
