About Richard
I have a BA Honours degree in History and Politics. In my work over the years I have worked with government which has kept me acquainted with current political developments. My current business of writing public sector tenders and funding bids also means that I need to be constantly aware of various political developments.

I will always tailor my tuition to meet the requirements of the student as much as possible. In the first instance I will have a meeting with the student and his/her parents or guardians if appropriate. Here we will find out as much as possible about the student's preferred learning styles and interests and then draw up plan of learning activities around that. We will set goals at that meeting and then review progress towards meeting those goals on a regular basis. When the student's main goal is exam preparation the sessions' main focus will be practicing questions. This will be done both within the sessions themselves jointly with me and also as homework tasks for the student which will then be reviewed at the subsequent session.
