About Tom
A passionate guitar player with 20 years of playing and over 12 years' performing experience. Music has been a huge part of my life, and I love helping others discover the joy of playing guitar. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, my lessons are tailored to your goals and learning style. Just as I was inspired by my guitar teacher, who valued what music I wanted to play and who I wanted to sound like, they catered my lessons specifically for me, I want to pass on this ethos to my students. I believe that learning guitar should be fun, inspiring, and rewarding. My teaching approach focuses on creativity and building confidence, whilst improving technique along the way so you can play the music you love. Let's make some music together!

My methodology is simple, you tell me the music you like and are inspired by and I’ll teach you the techniques necessary in order to become like your influences. This can include finger exercises, learning scales, chord shapes and the most fun part, learning songs. Lessons are 1 hour long each.
