About Francesca
As for individual lessons, I tend to ask for one week notice, in order to organize the lecture on the topic / themes required. This time suffices to prepare the material (conceptual grinders, slides, short texts) that I can leave to the student. This kind of material has proved to be very useful, since it allows the student to fix concepts / notions which we dealt with during the lectures. Several year of teaching and of giving presentation at several international conferences helped me to gain a certain rigor and clarity that are usually appreciated. Of course, I am always ready to get feedbacks and suggestions on how to improve my skills!

My name is Francesca, I obtained my PhD in Philosophy (area of expertise: Logic and Science) at the University of Florence, in 2015. I teach occasionally (graduate and undergraduate level), in a course titled "Advanced topics in Philosophy of Science". I have experience in teaching both in Italian and in English, as I lived and studied in London for a couple of years. I also have experience in teaching to undergraduates (High school), as I was a teacher trainee in History and Philosophy during my Bachelor's degree. To recap: I am able to teach Philosophy, History of Philosophy, Philosophy of Science and Logic both at undergraduate and graduate level. I can also teach in English (and help to better one's Italian, throughout the lesson).

Francesca ha sempre mostrato grande interesse per l'insegnamento e lo ha dimostrato mettendoci grande passione e professionalità.
