About Isla
I am a dedicated A-Level student with a strong interest in Maths and Chemistry, with aspirations to study Medicine. Alongside my studies, I enjoy STEM research, and have achieved a Silver award in the Senior Maths Challenge. I like to spend my time reading and exploring a range of films.
I have experience supporting younger students in Maths, where I developed a clear and patient approach to explaining new concepts, or developing understanding in difficult ones. I am particularly motivated to tutor because I enjoy helping students build confidence in their maths skills, something I've previously struggled with.
As someone who's been on the other side of tutoring, I understand the challenges students face and aim to make learning accessible, engaging, and rewarding while developing strong problem-solving skills.

I am a dedicated A-Level student who achieved all Grade 9s at GCSE, with a strong passion for Maths. I take a supportive and structured approach to tutoring, focusing on building confidence as well as understanding. My lessons involve clear explanations, step-by-step methods, and practice with exam-style questions to help students improve effectively.
I have experience tutoring Year 7 and Year 8 students, and I tailor each lesson to suit the individual’s needs and learning style.
I offer sessions of 30–60 minutes and teach KS3 Maths (Years 7–9), supporting students who want to improve their grades, build confidence, or get ahead.
