About Malaika

I achieved 3 A*s at A-level, including Biology, and am passionate about helping students reach their full potential. As an experienced tutor, I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I focus on breaking down difficult topics into simple explanations, building confidence and developing strong exam technique. Having recently completed my own A-levels, I can also share effective revision strategies and tips to help students feel prepared and confident going into their exams.

About the lesson

I have a ‘master document’ with handwritten notes for every topic in biology A-level, which I can share with students. I will begin by identifying areas they find challenging and use clear explanations, diagrams and examples to help them understand complex topics. Lessons will include active recall, exam-style questions and past paper practice to strengthen their knowledge and develop their exam technique. I will also provide feedback on their answers, address any misconceptions and track their progress to ensure they build confidence and achieve their full potential.
