About Simon
I have been teaching economics for over 25 years at both GCSE and A-level. I now work in a sixth form college and also tutor a small number of students every week. I have worked for one of the leading exam boards for 15 years, and am keen to keep up to date with current research in the most effective teaching strategies. I like to approach the subject that I love in a way that students can relate to using examples they are familiar with to make the sessions relevant and engaging.

My tutoring is designed to be interactive and help students to develop both subject knowledge and exam skills in order to access the higher level marks in exams. I have over 25 years' experience as an economics teacher, and 15 years as a senior examiner. Lessons are usually for one hour and are aimed at GCSE and A-Level students.
