About Karam
I achieved an A* in A-Level Economics after initially being predicted a B. My biggest improvement came from moving beyond simply learning the content and focusing on mastery, application and exam technique. I now study Economics & Finance at the University of Southampton, and I use the same techniques that helped me make that jump to help students turn their knowledge into A* answers.

My 1–1.5 hour lessons are designed to help students turn the Economics knowledge they already have into high-quality A/A* exam answers. Knowing the content is only half the battle — the real challenge is applying it effectively under exam conditions.
Lessons focus on developing application, analysis, evaluation and exam technique, with plenty of exam-style questions and personalised feedback. I’ll break down exactly how to structure answers, develop chains of reasoning, use evaluation effectively and make sure your knowledge translates into marks.
